Payoneer is a global payment processor similar to PayPal which promises a safe and affordable online payment solution for international freelancers, affiliate marketers, and others who make money online and need to get paid in their home country.

The Payoneer prepaid MasterCard works like any other re-loadable MasterCard prepaid debit card that you can get at your local bank branch, though it isn't a typical local debit card account.

1. A physical MasterCard prepaid debit card.
2. An online account linked to your MasterCard card which you can use to view your balance and transaction history, as well as manage your account and personal details.

HOW THE CARD WORKS? 

Here's a quick summary of how the card works.

• You can receive credit/debit card payments from anyone with Visa or MasterCard, from anywhere in the world. This service comes with a small processing fee per payment, and the maximum amount you can receive from a single credit card payment is $1000.

• You can receive Direct Deposit payments from US-based companies such as Amazon and PayPal through Payoneer’s US Payment Service. The transaction fee for using the US Payment Service is 1% of the total amount transferred. You’ll then get paid directly onto your card, rather than having to wait for an international check and paying exorbitant clearing fees on your earnings. 

• You can receive online payments in USD from Payoneer-approved partners (for example: Elance, Fiverr, MediaWhiz, Media Shakers, and dozens more). Receiving payments this way is free for most partners and takes two days to load, although you can also pay an extra $2.50 if you need the cash within 1-2 hours of requesting it. 

• You can pay for goods and services online as well as in brick-and-mortar stores. It has the convenience of a credit card for online payments, with the beauty of a prepaid debit card since you cannot spend more money than you have in your account - i.e. you can't get into debt! There is no extra charge added to your purchases when you use the Payoneer card directly at a point-of-sale machine. 

• You can withdraw cash in your local currency from any ATM with the MasterCard logo visible on it somewhere – there are more than 1 million of these ATMs worldwide. The fee for a standard ATM cash withdrawal is around $3. This fee might sting a bit, but it helps me keep disciplined with my spending habits so I don't mind it too much. 

If you don’t already have an account with one of Payoneer’s partners, you will want to sign up for your Payoneer card directly from the Payoneer website. The yearly card fee is $29.95 (this fee depends on the location you are applying, for your country it may be less), which is deducted from your balance automatically so you don’t have to worry about renewing it. There are no monthly maintenance fees when you sign up for your card via Payoneer's website.

Please note that Payoneer does provide a few other services such as Global Bank Transfers and the US Payment Service; however, I will be covering these in this review.

STEP BY STEP TO GET PAYONEER CARD

1. The first step please click here

You will be faced with Payoneer Card registration page as follows:

After clicking "Sign Up!" display will be as shown below:

Information:
It appears there are three (3) steps that must be completed by filling in the data is needed. 

1. "Start Here" | Please fill in your personal data in accordance with the actual (important).

(Important) When finished, do not be on the tick on the "Click here and fill in this section ONLY if your shipping address is different from above or you want your card shipped to a PO Box"
2.  Step II | You are prompted to enter a unique password and security question.

3. Step III | You are asked to enter personal data as identity cards that you have.

4. The final step for this please check all the information on the three, and end with "Finish".

5.  If you have filled it right, then you will find the display below: 

Important! Unless you get here, then you can conclude you have finished the process of getting Payoneer card.

6. Check your email that is registered before, you'll get an email from Payoneer Customer Support that contains your submission that the application is currently in review. Wait for a few days to get the next step. If lucky, you will get an email reply from Payoneer Inc. notifying you that your submission of applications received, the contents of the email you are required to attach a copy of your identity card that matches what you submitted. Where in the email contained a link directing you to upload the document. As the picture below:

7. After you get the picture or ID ready, then you click the “Upload link” and you will find the page as shown below:

8. The final step is that you are required to upload a document, be it a National ID Cards, Passport or licenses you have Drive and scan into a file extension. JPG. Make sure the document is the same as what you put on the menu account informations. If you have finish uploading the document, you will find the page as below:

If you find a page like the picture above, then you have finished filing your Payoneer card. Payoneer Parties will conduct a review of your document. If your document is received, then the Payoneer will notify you via email.

If you have received Payoneer ATM card, then you can do the activation. Payoneer card activation is required before you can use the card, to trade or for cash withdrawals at ATM machines worldwide. You may ask, How can I make my Payoneer card active?

Actually, Payoneer will give you step by step how to activate payoneer in the letter sent to your inbox. Payoneer provides some alternatives for the activation of Payoneer, which are:

• Activation Via Phone

For USA area, you can contact the call center at 1-888-802-4442 Payoneer. If you are outside the USA you can call the number at 1-847-461-1828 Payoneer, Ex-3 (International).

• Activation via Online

1. Go www.payoneer.com 
2. Click the "Activate your card" on the main page Payoneer. 
3. Enter your username and password. This is the username and password when you register Payoneer card 
4. Click the "Activate Card"
5. Create a PIN (must be 4 digits) and click "submit"
6. You will receive an email from Payoneer, which inform the change of status to active. "Your card is active upon successfully Completing the PIN change"

Note: Keep in mind that the Payoneer card is a debit card, you can use Payoneer cards if there are funds in it. 

HOW TO RECEIVE PAYMENTS?

1. Sign Up Here 

Sign up for the Payoneer Affiliate Card.
Once your card arrives in the mail, please activate it online in your account dashboard.

2. Choose how to get paid

A. (You can either) Apply for the US Payment Service.
US Payment Service members can receive funds from select US corporations. Simply login to your account with the company you wish to receive payments from, select to get paid via ACH/Direct Deposit, and enter your US Payment Service details.

B. (Or) Receive payments from any of payoneer partners.
Simply login to your account with the partner and select Payoneer as your payment method.
If your company does not support Payoneer and doesn’t appear in the list of US corporation, please let us payoneer know.

3. Get paid                                                          

The network/company will send your payments directly to your Payoneer Affiliate Card.

HOW TO LOAD YOUR PAYONEER CARD WITH FUNDS AND WITHDRAW AT THE ATM

How to load my Payoneer card with fund?

There are two ways to fill up the account balance of Payoneer:

Payoneer mention that you can load your Payoneer balance in two ways. The two ways to load your Payoneer card is via credit card and or via direct deposit (ACH). Each method may be affected by government regulations where you live, the type or types of Payoneer cards you have, the bank that you use to fill and payoneer policies. Let's examine one of the ways to load Payoneer.

Method 1: Load Payoneer via credit card

If you have a credit card in addition to payoneer, then you can do the loading through the credit card. The Credit card can be visa and mastercard. Payoneer will be charging a bit to use the facility to load funds to the Payoneer card with a credit card.

Here are a few steps to load your Payoneer card using credit card:

1. Click on My Account on your Payoneer account. 
2. Enter the Username and Password for login to your Payoneer account. 
3. Select the menu option "Load Money" on the "Tools" menu.
4. Enter your email address or your Payoneer card numbers (or if both are available) on the tab and click "Continue". 
5. Select the tab "Credit Card".
6. Enter data or credit card information requested and click "Continue" 
7. Perform the confirmation if you want to continue the transaction (fill the amount) and click on the "Save Changes"
8. Payoneer will give a confirmation message and will send you an email that you may approve (confirm) the transaction. Loading process will take up to 2 days.

Method 2: Load Payoneer via Direct Deposit Balance Payoneer (ACH)

In general, Payoneer apply the same charging policy to card loadings via direct deposit.

Steps to load your Payoneer card using direct deposit:

1. Click on My Account on your Payoneer account. 
2. Enter the Username and Password for login to your Payoneer account. 
3. Select the menu option "Load Money" on the "Tools" menu. 
4. Enter your email address or your Payoneer card numbers or both are available on the tab and click "Continue". 
5. Select the tab "Direct Deposit". 
6. Enter data or credit card information requested and select the way you pay a fee to be paid and click "Continue" 
7. Perform the confirmation if you want to continue the transaction (fill the amount) and click on the "Save Changes"
8. Payoneer will give a confirmation message and will send you an email that you may approve (confirm) the transaction. Loading process will take up to 2 days.

Note: For fees that may apply, refer to your cardholder agreement for more information.

But I myself prefer to load my Payoneer card via direct deposit method. How do I get the funds? I get the funds from affiliate program commission from the likes of amazon and clickbank. Both affiliate programs provide the option of commission payments via direct deposit.
